WorkSafe New Zealand is the workplace health and safety regulator – we implement the Health and Safety at Work Act and our vision is that everyone who goes to work comes home healthy and safe. We are charged with leading New Zealand to achieve healthy and safe workplaces by using an engagement, education and enforcement approach. To support this, we need to continuously strengthen and improve our regulatory practices.
The Manager Regulatory Practice is focussed on ensuring that our regulatory practices are proportionate, consistent, fair and effective and support WorkSafe in being a risk-based regulator. The role works closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide practice and quality assurance frameworks that support our operational teams to deliver WorkSafe's regulatory functions.
