Ō te tūranga - About the role
The Deputy Chief Executive (DCE) – Corporate will provide executive leadership and direction to WorkSafe Mahi Haumaru's corporate functions, including People and Culture, Finance and Business Planning, Legal, Safety and Property, Risk and Compliance, Ministerial Services, Digital Delivery, and Enterprise Change. The DCE – Corporate will also act as the Chief Security Officer. The position is part of the ELT and will support the CE and contribute to the overall strategic direction.

To be successful in this key position, you will be an experienced senior leader, having led an integrated corporate services function for a substantial organisation. You will be an exceptional leader of people and highly skilled in leading change. Your background will include a relevant discipline – people and culture, finance (CFO), legal or risk management. You will operate with a continuous improvement focus and have exceptional judgement and communication ability. You will understand the regulatory environment and principles relating to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
