About your team / Ko te tīma
You'll be part of our Commissioning team, reporting to the Manager Intervention Design, working alongside another Service Designer to improve and co-create regulatory products and resources. This includes leading and facilitating short design sprints to develop and enhance tools that support safer, healthier workplaces.
About the role / Ō te tūranga
You will lead and bring together diverse groups to come up with innovative ideas and help develop solutions.
What You'll Do/ Ko tōu ake mahi
- Lead and facilitate design workshops and insight gathering
- Use frameworks and service design tools to map and improve experiences
- Apply creative and systems thinking to solve complex challenges
- Work in agile cycles (e.g., short sprints) to prototype and iterate quickly
- Translate insights into clear design artefacts and service blueprints
- Collaborate with delivery teams to bring ideas to life
What You'll Bring / Ko ngā pukenga ōu
- Proven experience in service design, human-centred or systems design
- Strong facilitation and design skills and the ability to lead diverse teams
- Strong facilitation skills and the ability to lead diverse teams
- Openness to using and adapting different models and frameworks
- Demonstrated innovation in previous projects
- Experience with Agile methodology and short sprint cycles
- Solid project management skills and a track record of successful project delivery

Salary range / Awhe utu
As part of our remuneration framework the full salary range for the position is from $92,849 to $122,424. Note: KiwiSaver/SSRSS employer contribution is additional to/on top of your base salary.
