WorkSafe New Zealand is the Government's health and safety regulator charged with leading the single biggest shakeup of work health and safety in a generation. The Policy and Practice team here at WorkSafe is tasked with driving quality improvement of the health and safety regulatory system and supporting its effective implementation. Policy and Practice is made up of three contributing teams, each with a slightly different focus. We are looking for one Policy Advisor in the Operational Policy team, and another in the Regulatory Frameworks team. As a Policy Advisor you will be responsible for researching and analysing operational and regulatory policy problems, developing clear written analyses, and making sound recommendations to decision makers. You will work collaboratively with others in Policy and Practice and across WorkSafe, pro-actively building trusting relationships. Your work will help WorkSafe on its journey to being a great regulator.
